Position:Â Senior Security Engineer
Job Duties:
1.Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and other security technologies.
2.Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
3.Aid security incidents and perform forensic investigations to determine the root cause of security breaches.
4.Follow security threats, trends, technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the development and deployment of new systems and applications.
5.Perform proof of concept (POC) engagements with customers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the evaluation process.
6.Provide technical support and guidance to existing customers, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Job Requirements:
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related. Employer will accept foreign equivalent in same.
Experience Requirements: 24 months of experience in job offered, Technical Subject Matter Expert, FastTrack SME Microsoft Defender, Consultant Sr, or closely related.
Special skills requirements:
1.Experience securing the messaging environment by performing threat detection and prevention, authentication and access controls, encryption, security policies and procedures, data loss prevention, security auditing and compliance, patch management, incident response and forensics, security awareness training, vendor and third-party management, documentation, and reporting.
2.Experience with technical documentation related to discovery, design, and as-built guides for projects.
3.Experience providing training to corporate clients on Office 365 administration, business analysis, Security Recommendations, Security assessments, messaging infrastructure assessments and associated documentation.
4.Proficient in overseeing Microsoft 365 tenant management responsibilities for enterprise-level operations, encompassing identity management, security protocols, compliance measures, and supporting technologies. Skilled in effectively managing and configuring Microsoft 365 Defender and Endpoint Manager (Intune) to enable proactive threat detection and enhance endpoint security.
5.Experience planning and managing mail architecture. This includes mail system design, infrastructure assessment, scalability and performance optimization, mailbox provisioning and management, mail routine and delivery, integration with other systems, security and compliance, disaster recovery and business continuity, monitoring and troubleshooting, and documentation and knowledge transfer.
6.Demonstrate expertise in providing support to enterprise clients for Azure Active Directory management, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Identity Protection, ensuring heightened security measures for user sign-ins. Proficient in deploying Microsoft Defender services, including Microsoft Defender for Office, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, and Cloud App security, to enhance overall security posture.
7.Experience working with software and tools such as:
a.Microsoft Defender 365, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Defender for Cloud Apps Security, Defender for Cloud, MFA, and SSO, Intune, Endpoint Manager, Mobile Devices Manager
Salary: $130,000 - $135,000 /year
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week
