Foundation & Early Leadership

The firm’s principals—Maureen and Stewart Lande, a husband and wife team—began in the technology field and became a leading Apple computer dealer and repair center. The company also became one of New York’s first Platinum Novell Networks re-sellers.

1994

Formation of MDS

Following the sale of The Lande Group to a NASDAQ-listed IT firm, Maureen Data Systems was established as an independent, woman-owned enterprise focused on structured technology advisory and implementation.

1995

Woman-Owned Enterprise

MDS was incorporated as a woman-owned enterprise (WBE). MDS is now a WBE certified company at the local (NYC), state (NY & NJ) and federal levels. The company is headquartered in New York City.

2018

Expansion & Scale

MDS expands to Latin America and the Caribbean region, working out of the Miami, Florida office
