MDS deployed IAM tools for a professional staffing company for better security.
The Challenge
The customer consisting of over 280 employees, was seeking professional security advisory and security-as-a-service solutions to assist with increasing their security posture. MDS was able to provide these services based on an annual contract agreement.
This service is based on the security maturity model, organization requirements, threat and risk factors as well as the ever-changing technology solution landscape. Identity and Access Management (IAM) was used to help design, implement, and test systems that better-enabled business data security and governance to protect critical information within their organization.
The Solution
After evaluating their existing environment, MDS recommended they utilize IAM to assist with their business challenges. MDS helped to design, implement, and test IAM systems using on-premise and cloud Active Directory security considerations with Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
MDS also conducted a security GAP analysis to review current access privilege standards that were in place as well as how the company was maintaining user access.
The Result
With these technologies in place, the client had better-enabled business data security and governance to protect critical information within their organization. They also were able to elevate their security by giving and restricting access to certain individuals when it contained sensitive data.
