MDS is a U.S.-based company that operates exclusively within the United States. We do not offer goods or services to individuals in the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), nor do we monitor the behavior of individuals in those regions. As such, the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) do not apply to our data processing activities.

MDS processes personal information primarily to support business communications, facilitate contract management, and deliver our services to our Customers. The data is handled exclusively for legitimate business purposes in strict accordance with for applicable laws and regulations, and only to fulfill client contractual requirements. MDS does not repurpose personal information for unrelated or unauthorized activities, and any additional uses will be subject to  consent or lawful basis where required. 

Disclosure of your personal information 

MDS may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to 

(a) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process served on MDS, including, but not limited to, compliance with legal, regulatory and law enforcement requests. In such instances, MDS will cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. MDS will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as MDS, in our sole discretion, believes is necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (such as subpoena requests), to protect MDS property and rights or the property and rights of a third-party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity MDS considers to be illegal or unethical. MDS does not sell, share, or rent your personal information as defined under enacted state-specific privacy laws. However specifically for visitors to MDS’s website, our use of third-party Cookies, Tags and other tools may be considered a “share” or “sale” of your personal information (please see “WEBSITE VISITORS” section below for more information).

These rights may be subject to lawful exceptions or  verification requirements. Upon receiving such requests, MDS will make reasonable efforts to verify the individual’s identity and respond in accordance with response timeframes or guidelines.
